To use The All-Seeing Eye to auto select the patch, you'd have to go to tools -> options (F2).

Next, go to the Games tab and select Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory.

Change the program location from ET.exe to sleep.exe

For example:
"C:\Program Files\Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory\ET.exe"

should be changed to

"C:\Program Files\Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory\sleep.exe"

Now go to the Events tab and click on Run plugin program....

And fill in the following:

"C:\Program Files\Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory\patch.exe" {mod_version}

You should be done by now. I have tested this on several versions and servers (and let some friends test it aswell). For us it works, and I'm sure it's gonna work for you as long as my explaination is clear.
