Maikel did a little interview with irZ, known from sweRTCW and for being one of the only girls playing ET actively.
Not even close to all you ever wanted to know about her, which could possibly be impossible!


maikel: Hi irZ, for the few people that don't know you, please introduce yourself.
irZ: Hi! My name is Ida, my alias is irZ. I live in Stockholm, Sweden and am 22 years old.

maikel: Why and when did you start gaming?
irZ: An ex-boyfriend introduced me to ET. The first few months i really disliked the game, but I learned to like it as time passed. ET is the one and only game for me. I played my first game about two years ago.

maikel: I can imagine, you being a girl gamer, people treat you differently than other players. Is this true?
irZ: It happens quite a lot.

maikel: Is it hard being one of the only girls in a male-dominant environment?
irZ: It can be hard sometimes. I've learned not to care about random flame and comments concerning the fact I'm a girl. But it's never nice to be treated differently, it doesn't really matter for what reason.

maikel: Which teams have you played in since you started ET?
irZ: I started playing in some funclan called {LT} first. After that I moved to a lowskilled 6on6 team, footfetish. After that, I played some with memento mori before i moved to [deo]. After that I've mostly been mixing and mercing, until I started funestus recently.

maikel: Which players have had, or still have, a big influence on your game?
irZ: I've always been amazed by tekoa's game. It used to have some effect on my own game. The player I look up to most is Night.

maikel: And which players have you had most fun with playing?
irZ: I liked all players in my ex-teams, as well as my current one. I'd have to say blaze and loekino.

maikel: Have you been involved in any community-related 'work' whilst playing ET?
irZ: Yes. I first had my own community together with a few other guys, called b3t.org. After that I was in inVidia-eSports management. Right now I'm involved in sweRTCW (what's left of it), rewind and aMenti. So yes, I have been quite busy.

maikel: A few quick questions now.

maikel: Red, Green or Blue?
irZ: Blue.

maikel: Favourite food?
irZ: Since I'm a vegetarian nowadays, it's quite a hard question. I'd have to say noodles and wook.

maikel: Banana or apple?
irZ: apple! ;)

maikel: Favourite music/genre?
irZ: I'd say house.

maikel: First song that pops up in your mind?
irZ: Morgan Page feat. Astrid Suryanto - Falling

maikel: Favourite movie?
irZ: Donnie Darko

irZ: No, I am not.

irZ: I have.

maikel: Who?
irZ: No comment. ;p

maikel: Who's the best looking guy in the ET scene?
irZ: Holz
