did some custom lowlevel formatting on my ipod with a screwdriver. never been happier with it. i use a mp3 player from creative now.

ye an ipod is really wasting money , i will never buy an ipod again with that retarded itunes software =(

You can try the winamp plugin for ipod. http://www.winamp.com/plugins/details.php?id=138888

I havent tried it myself, but i can imagine that it's better than using itunes.

you will prolly find the drive letter for your ipod there and be able to format it ^^

treat it like a mobile harddisk. if its connected with ur WIN XP right klick and "format" ;)
