im searching a working q3a torrent with all patches and mods i need.
is it right that on most servers you dont need a original key at all?
like at rtcw?

I got a Q3A CD and I don't need to run q3 anymore with the CD if i got the 1.32 (i think)patch. It is pretty much equivalent to ET's 2.6b

No.. The game code is open source but the actual content (i.e. pk3s) are not.

i knew you're waiting for this, haha ;d i play only carenas for last 3 years but it doesn't mean 'no'. i'd rather play thunderstruck/amphi instead of regular maps but if you wanted 3a, i'd play that. (even though my timing doesn't exist for now, i think XD)
