media players2

So whats the best media player to play HD movies, been using bsplayer but everything feels laggy with it.

Vlc was much better but noticed lag also, so is there any player that can play them without lagging?

Or is there just something wrong with my computer? :(

I think its mainly about the codecs since vlc plays everything for me without lag
Try splayer, downloads eng-subs automatically for most movies / series, no need to install codecs and it is free + no any advert-stuff or trials.

Great way to learn spanish too, it often suggests them as subtitles :)
If every players are laggy for you, maybe look for your config =)
Maybe DivX players?
Try, they seem to be good.

update codecs
vlc al the way
k-lite codec mega pack -> install with lots of stuff + player -> select haali as rendering.

everything will work except real dvd´s (with the ts_audio /ts_video folders). For that i use VLC.
media player classic + cccp codec pack
Second that! Best possible way to watch HD movies. If it still would be laggy, use CoreAVC (you can easily find torrent for that)

why it is the best possible way?

tried (almost) everything on my shitty PC and only MPC HC with cccp worked fine for me :P

Got winamp pro! just username & key!

i had some lag with VLC for a while on things like blue planet, when i was streaming it to my tv. updated the drivers for my gfx card sorted it though...
kantaris?
just reinstall bsplayer ;))
vlc......
VLC aint bad.
Probable not the best
vlc or MPC Star
There is a Windows version available for mplayer. It is a lightweight player that supports almost every format. It is even better than VLC if you ask me.
vlc + some codec packs
for me Cyberlink PowerDVD 10 Mark II Ultra works good
GOM player
kmplayer
virtualdub ! :D
The best to use is Media Player Classic Home Cinema with DXVA decode support for the HD movies. http://www.xvidvideo.ru/media-player-classic-home-cinema-x86-x64

AC3filter for getting the sound out from SPDIF to a receiver. http://sourceforge.net/projects/ac3filter/files/ac3filter/ac3filter_1_51a/ac3filter_1_51a.exe/download

Make sure to have lastest DirectX installed :)
VLC!!!
