YOU wouldnt recognize the difference but why do you think there are motors that need super PLUS (v-power) instead of just super? not because gas stations want to make more money...

UK prices around 1.51 euros p/l (£1.27-£1.30) - I miss paying 79p per litre :(

Diesel was always (with some little exceptions) cheaper then petrol here.

of course it does.. just because you put in X amount doesn't mean it doesn't effect you, you're getting less petrol you'll probably notice your not getting as much mileage from your usual fillup anymore.
