I have a dark .avi file which is almost completely black when viewed normally.
I used VLC to play with the settings and managed to make it viewable.
Is there some way I could save these effects to the avi file, so no matter where it's opened, or with what program it would get the viewable effects ?
I already tried replicating the settings with Sony Vegas but just couldn't get it right, remains too dark or completely fucked up.

sure it isn't the grafic card driver?
I dont think so, just edit in Vegas and render it out again..
