hi crossfire could you suggest some good 2011 movies (or recent 2010)

must not be comedy or horror, needs to have a good story line or smth new interesting w/e you get my drift

p.s already seen:

the kings speech
black swan
the town
inception
shutter island

out of these some jump out at me like green lantern, xmen, pirates of the carribean 4, thor, transformers 3, Captain america, mission impossible - going to see battle for la this weekend hopefully that is good. Also some other films will be there but not so hypedabout so far, I saw the west end production of war horse and it could be good depends on the director I guess :)

they're awesome for cinemas though

also, LoL @ people like you dishing everything that is too commercial for your taste, taste, taste, it's all personal taste in the end anyway

indeed, Im mainly talking cinema films :) If I miss these for cinema then Im not likely to actually watch these unless they come on TV (for instance I dont go to the cinema to see a non-special effects movie, I see it as fairly pointless)

You said good movies though. I wouldn't even call Transformers 2 a movie anymore. It was just a timeline of explosions and good CGI. :p

I said potentially good! :D

of those Im mainly going to see green lantern, thor and battle for la - I generally only go to see visually impressive films in the cinema, although being good storywise is a nice bonus too.

in terms of the hyped up will hit over 500mil box office films, they will be close or more - doesnt mean they will be good, but they will be entertaining in vue xtreme ;]

yea I only look forward to those sort of films for cinema (: generally its the films you dont hear much hype about hat are actually quite good, war horse like I say may well be one of these.

Seen it on Tuesday in English with German subs in the cinema. It has its lengths but it's amusing at times and overall a decent movie, even though I'm not a big fan of historic movies.
