Since spotify seems to be limiting use for free users, I'm looking for a new music player with a useful playlist/library function, hopefully a bit similar to spotify's,
Aside from spotify, i am currently using foobar2k but i simply have too much music to make this useful. I simply have to scroll way too much to go from one song to another.
would be really nice if i could sort something trough genre or related genres or generate some dynamic-ish playlists which i can manage without alot of hassle.
What music player are you using? and what would you suggest me?

random song
I do not like this person alot.
or learn to configure foobar, it offers variety of extensions.
Mine is pretty modded, but i dont even know how to remove certain albums from current playlists -.-
I still buy albums to support certain independent artists.
downloading is not stealing anyhow, if your music is being download u should be happy.
youtube does allow musicians to upload and host their music for free to a wide audience, for most i think this is good, spotify is a little different imo in that their business model is entirely based upon not paying artists for playing their music, quite different i think
F3 search??
or have each genre in a different playlist ;/
about playlists too, foobar does have the ability to create smart/autoplaylists, i have one for unplayed stuff so i can remember what i need to listen to, it would also work for genre and whatnot
i don't think you'll find a better app than foobar, itunes and wmp are both pretty awful at dealing with large libraries
ps: jenny lewis is hot
I'll try the layout you sent me, looks pretty solid actually.
but I'm still running an old foobar version, do i need to update?
also, does it run on linux? never tried...
