on the one hand im feeling really sorry for him, because you can really see a different side of bam. he seems really sad and he must have loved his best friend like his own brother...
but on the other hand this happens every day a million times in the world and noone really gives a fuck. why should we feel in a different way this time ? Just because we know someone from the tv, he isnt a special case.
all in all people should learn from this accident, because everyone somehow knew ryan dunn and a lot of people felt somehow sad about this accident. everyone should learn next time to think twice before they jump in a car with drunken people. imagine bam would be someone else..for example your best friend or one of your family, crying that hard about your death...
your comment isn't gonna change anything, stupid people will still be stupid people, no matter how many times you try to tell them something is bad. :/
I think that some people just dont learn anything, because they cant imagine the consequences. In this case everyone had some kind of connection to ryan dunn and everyone saw the consequence. This accident will stay in your head for some time. People will say, "we better dont drink and drive, look what happened to Ryan Dunn from Jackass". Have you ever heard something about a shock therapy ? Well i guess this would be somehow the case.
You say that my comment wont change anything. Anything is relative. Even one people thinking about my comment or my opinion in general would be already enough. Sure not everyone will see it in my way, but i guess that a lot people will do.
God damn it.
Such a long reply makes me feel obliged to reply with a very long and serious comment.
Since I can't be bothered with that, all I'm gonna say is, that smart people already know that drinking and driving is bad, whereas there could be some "inbetweeners" that could be affected by your comment, and might think twice before driving drunk as you already mentioned it.
Although his death doesn't really affect me in that way, sure he was my favorite of the Jackass people, but what am I supposed to do, people die every day, and yet life still goes on...
Personally I don't really drink that much, neither do I have my drivers license yet, so...
This is probably my longest comment I've ever made on xfire, look what you did, you should be proud of yourself.
you dont have to respect his actions but you should show some respect if all you have to say are wnb witty things about moral.
but seeing that you are one of the most socially incompetent people on this site i dont really expect you to be able and grasp the difference.
haha you really are dumb as a brick... lold hard at your inability to read.
let me explain it to you again: no respect due for his actions (making you laugh, drunk driving, ...)
respect appropriate in a journal where someone cries his eyes out cause the best friend just died.
wnb witty "shouldnt have drunk and drive", "people only care cause hes famous" [...] inappropriate in this situation (out of place while true and all that)
maybe when not speaking in full sentences you are actually capable of understanding.
and maybe you should go back and read my original response and ask yourself why you posses the mental abilities of a newborn
One of the properties of human beings is that they develop feelings for people that they know, either negative or positive feelings. Even knowing someone from television will make people care.
I seriously doubt about the sanity of all the people shouting that it was his own fault and that Bam is a faggot for being this sad about it, since it was "a deserved death", if anything like that exists.
It doesn't matter how Ryan died, if it was your best friend (if you even know what that is since loyal friendship is something that doesn't occur a lot), you would be so messed up aswell.
So his death was caused by a drink driving accident. Was it confirmed he was the one driving? There was somebody in the car with him called Zach, I haven't come across anything (yet) that says Ryan Dunn was the driver.
Anyway, let's say he was the driver. Deserved? Really? If one of your friends is drink-driving and dies because of that, will your reaction be "He deserved it" - wow.
Happens all the time? Of course it does. Does that mean people can't mourne the death of somebody who they knew through the media? No.
Fuck the haters, a funny guy has lost his life through his own (or somebody else's) stupidity. That's even more sad. This guy made a living out of doing stupid things, remember that.
He was the driver, toxication results show he was drunk, the bartender or so said he didn't have much and didn't seem drunk at all when he left the bar.
You have no control of your car though at 130mph if anything unexpected happens.
Seriously, what is this fuzz about that Ryan Dunn, leave that random drunkard and I-put-minicars-in-my-ass stupid (obviously stupid enough to drive being drunk with someone) dickhead alone. Thanks
Lucky that he didnt kill anyone else but himself and a friend who was stupid enuff to go drive with him
hope hes get trough.. :(
