Hai! :) Is there any Lotro players here? I know that atleast Duke_ and domi are playing sometimes. I am playing on snowbourn[EU] server and so is Domi. Duke_ is playing on some german server. Got 2 maxed characters so can help if needed :o)
Lotro is "free" mmorpg game, they say that it is the biggest mmorpg after WoW. Lots of instances/raids/pvp/quests.
The graphics are quite stunning atleast in my opinion http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=obMFS0svpBY
There is new expansion coming on September btw! Trailer here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u2B0UUSocmU

Hmm, and btw. I think rift is bigger than lotro nowadays, but not sure
Scorch played it 24/7 so he wasnt bad ;D
For now im waiting for the new content but more im waiting for TOR-Online actually :-)
But overall i understand that. Item grinding is not my favorite type of gaming ^^
mined some gold
got bored
:z
I'm playing for free but there's a few things that bug me. For instance the currency cap and the gold trading restrictions. I can't trade money and I can only have 2 gold at the same time. Furthermore I only have 3 bags instead of 5 (on my old character I still have 5 though) and they fill so quickly. I'm also wondering if I can quest my way to 50/65 without buying any turbine points myself (possibly spending those earned trough deeds on quest packs).
At least I'm enjoying questing with a couple of mates so far and equipment of my level only costs me some hundreds of silvers. Wondering what to do when my equipment starts costing over 2 gold.
Basicly best equipment comes available when you turn 60+, that's the time when you start to do the instances and gain the endgame equipment. They don't cost money but you need some medallions from instances.
E. When you buy vip for 1 month and it ends, after that you become premium so you don't have any restrictions so thats why its good to buy it for one month. I suppose you're leveling on Lone Lands atm which is free area. After that you need to buy next quest pack, I'd say Evendim is fastest and easiest area nowadays. It costs ~500 turbine points.
On which server are you playing btw? If you're on Snowbourn[EN] I can help you alot if you are :)
