netbook, anyone?

hi guys,

i think about getting a netbook since my laptop is too old and heavy to take it to university all the time, but unfortunately i have no clue about whats good and whats crap in this area :/

so i hope you guys can help me out and recommend some!

what i am looking for:

- needs to have long battery (6-10h, then again i dont know what netbooks are capable of)
- needs to be lightweight (so i can carry it around in my bag all day)
- prize range: 100 - 500 €!

Thanks in advance!

get muscles and you can carry it all day all night !
only laptops i know with point 1 and 2 would be mac book air and one from (if i remember right) sony.. but both are way more costly then ur price range.
What slay3rs said tbh. I was going to buy my girlfriend a netbook for uni but found a really "good HP laptop" (LOL) for the same price range. Watch out for one-day deals at Amazon or at your local store. Don't regret a thing about buying the laptop (plus her camera works pretty well :P)
just bought an acer aspire one 722 (11.6'' screen) for university studies. Cost around 350€ with wifi & bluetooth. Has been working fine, its nice and compact and hardly weighs anything.

found the reason for the low price

I knew someone was gonna bring up something about Acer. All the acers I've ever owned have worked perfectly. I find them to have excellent price/quality ratios.
