Im not familiar with HoN really, but i've always wondered why all the HoN players only master like 1 or 2 champs :S. How can you expect to play devourer mid every game??? :S

Honestly, I was under the impression that the community favoured reaching decent skill levels as every hero/champion/character.

The gameplay isn't too different with any character really, so I can't see any point in playing just one. I can't claim I actually nerd HoN, but my goal has always been to play as many heroes as possible in every MOBA game.

Some people claim that you'll never become good this way, but honestly, I find the gameplay between different heroes to be way similar enough to not have any noticeable skill loss after you've grown used to the character after a few minutes/games. Maybe they're just mentally challenged and incapable of learning multiple tasks.

i spose they just want to play the coolest looking one that has most youtube kill movies with?

im no moba player but prolly learning all/most the champs to a decent level and then specializing in 2-3-4 is the best way to go, its a balance of knowing how to play your champ and how to play the champ you are playing against

well yeh i play LoL (/flame on) and i main like 6 champs... and am fairly decent with quite a few others, also playin 1 champ seems boring to me :S

it's impossible to get to 1100 with teammates, if you have some slightest clue about the game you shouldn't drop below 1400. Specially when you play with devourer mid, you should roll the 1400 noobs easily :p

i can play with you though. add Wilfu, somewhat around 1600 i think. 1668

if you only play devourer mid then you should be able to pull(or hook) yourself out of the 1100's, even if your team is full of feeders.
