CS6 released!

Just installed the Photoshop CS6 Trial. The interface seems really interesting ( have been waiting on single window for a while now ) and trying to find some good photo I can use to play with the new content awareness 0.o

After Effects CS6 will be awesome :)
The content awareness works so randomly, you can't use it to every picture, most of the time results were shit when I tried it. Or maybe it was just me who didn't know how to really use it, didn't like the tool anyway. Otherwise it is quality as always, just not sure if you really need the latest version.
you can make your moustache look *even bigger on every photo now!

Hia hia, they are already on full-power-mode, no need for photoshop.

I'm still using CS2, then again I'm not using it too much for the effects stuff. Just some cutting, sharpening, changing image size, scans etc.

Is it actually worth getting a newer version other than for more/better filters? (srs)
If you don't need it I think it would be a waste of your money.

I stick to the old versions, new stuff always brings trouble..
I think it's awesome, quite an improvement from the previous editions. And as a photographer it has a few neat feats to play around with and the tilt shift works pretty well on there too.
Quite like the darker interface as it is though there's a few options to revert it back to original.
Not sure how I feel about the revamped raw editing screen though but I guess it gives you much more control now playing with the highlights/shadows/blacks and so on.

Colour wise it has a few new additions and the HDR options are nice.

Don't really have anything worth showing as an example as you could pretty much do all of this on the previous editions so

And then you pack them into horrible artifacty jpeg.. Just look at that sky in the last picture.

Admittedly I have gone sloppy over the last few years and if I were to print the pictures out I wouldn't be using JPEG to begin with. However, it's also a bit of an advantage in terms of copyright/only putting low res crap online, not that anyone would want to steal my pictures :D
Parent
Dunno I can imagine someone using that as a wallpaper

u can do better
