Music Players

Which player do you use and why?

Currently I'm using Winamp, because of the excellent plugins. But I saw Amarok on Linux and it's a really nice program :)
So give me some alternatives pls!

iTunes so I can use AirTunes which is basically wireless speakers around my house (very nice)

http://www.songbirdnest.com/ looks cool. I've heard that foobar2k is great too, Amarok which you mentioned on Linux is awesome. I am using Rhythmbox on ubuntu and its really great.

It actually uses more resources than iTunes, this alone makes it a very impressive player. It also makes iTunes feel very fast and responsive in comparison.

foobar2000 for me.

http://bs2b.sourceforge.net/ using it for foobar, but winamp is also supported (my friend use it)

only if you use perfoheissers

Downloaded and tried it, only gives a very minor change from the default. I also downloaded Enhancer v0.17 and that gives me a better sound. And how good is perfogood? :) I got the Sennheiser HD200.

I recommend especially the enhancer you already use. It's great and no other program gives me such a good sound ;)

I created my own fitting to my sound system. Wouldn't help you much, because I changed the system's settings, too ;)

The only thing you can do in general is switching off the ambient setting. (sux @ shoutcasts etc)
