Moviemaking question(s)

Hi guys, I'm trying to make few small RTCW clips and I was wondering if someone could lend me their technical expertise.

When I'm recording the clips, I either want only my frags to show on the thing at the top or, if this can't be done, then not at all. Does anyone know if there is a command for that?

If I have to remove the frag message entirely, then I will extract it as a PNG file. Do I just add these to the clips as I put together the video in whatever moviemaker I'm using or is there a way to do it in Virtualdub when you compile the screenshots?
