Seriously, Mozilla?

Apparently Firefox 17 forces Cleartype by default and doesn't have an option in the GUI to turn it off. I loathe Cleartype and in case you don't like it either, here's a fix.
  • Type "about:config" in the address bar
  • Press ENTER
  • Look for the boolean "gfx.direct2d.disabled"
  • Right-click it and select "Toggle" (it should now read "user set/boolean/true")
  • Restart Firefox

makes fonts looks sharper. search for Cleartype in Windows to see how it affects.
