Hello.
I m thinking that since most of you guys use a smartphone, in Romanian that being TELEFON DESTEPT,
I would like to invite you to my INGLORIOUS clash of clans group that I started.
It is called Inglorious(I know I just said it earlier) and for you to find it you need to search for Belgium location.
There are 2 clans with this name in Belgium, which kinda pisses me off as someone was smarter than me to think about this name already, but you will find me in one of them.I have the same name as here.

Anyway the game is 2d, and the adverts are 3d, that s true, but it is a wonderful game if you have patience of course.It needs strategy and it requires good players in the clan, just like ET. The beautiful thing about it, is that it is not necessary to be on it 24/7.
When you are attacked you get a shield of max 14 hours, which gives you time to loot and upgrade your village.
Tbh it's kind of hard to find good tablet games, I did try some moba on the iPad which was pretty good but most games which are on tablets and are good are games which would never work on a PC (if that makes sense?)

I m using Bluestacks, which is an emulator for android apps on WIndows.
So I have the entire screen to see, using a normal mouse, which makes it easier and faster when you attack, because it requires strategy and good position of your troops when you perform an attack.
So I think is quite cool.

Arrived on TH9 few days ago, still testing base setups.
Thats my base right now (clan war base looks the same. I will change normal one asap... need to move town hall outside walls and defend loot better):
Walls are also irrelevant, i play for clan wars mostly, which means i get mostly raided by a full dragon attack or hogs / spelljump. They are on my list, but better defenses help me way better than walls (not to mention wall breakers).
And yes, it seems easier to "farm resources" at some specific trophies level. In town hall 8, i had the best results with around 1300 (or 1200) trophies... But... i found out a tricky way to farm without much effort. It's some sort of "cheat" (doesn't work at BlueStacks yet). XMOD, google for it. It's a script that allows you to skip towns that do not meet your requirements (lets say less than 200 000 gold + 200 000 elixir).. it keeps skipping till it finds one within your desired requirements. It's unfair i know, but saves alot of time!

On a serious note, nice setup you got there (although i feel like the gold storage is way too exposed). Can you tell me how is your base design called? I am looking for a good TH9 design, mine sucks atm.
Also, why not 5 Builders? You got enough gems!
yep, you're right. actually this isn't the best layout because storages are easy to attack. but with max'd TH9, gold league 1 and TH outside ville, no one really attacks my storages. Also i'm only upgrading walls atm, so there is no more than 1mio in gold storages. When I was saving gold in past for some upgrades I just changed gold with elex storages.
It's just a self-made farming base. Mainly it's made for looking good but with this defense it perfectly suits gold and lower crystal league.
Like schmoe said, I already thought about getting the 5th worker but it's not really needed especially at higher levels. Also in past I didn't really miss a 5th worker. When all worker were busy I just saved gold for the next upgrade, so when a worker did his job, I immediatley could start the next upgrade. Well, there were some moments where I thought, a 5th worker would be great, but it was quite rare. Saving gems now for TH10, gonna waste them there!

Was expecting it to be a know base design, it surely looks good and seems to have everything to work perfectly, except that cannon near town hall.. it can scare the attacker a bit.. giving away trophies for free is not a bad thing, atleast it prevents them to rush storages sometimes :D
at first there were only 3 mortar for TH9 and I had this canon at dark elex storage in middle of base. Some updates ago they added a 4th mortar and I had to move the canon. To keep it symmetrical there were no other choice. But it's still working. According to defense log last attack on storages is longer ago then 2 weeks! :)

Dont look at the base design. I was just bored.
Right now i am also working on a new max TH8 War Base, but it seems almost impossible to make it GoWiPe, Massdrag and Hogsafe :(
