Hello all,
I wanted to know why the DPI can only be set to 800 or 1600, and not 400 with this driver?
I've just purchased my first Razer Diamondback Plasma, and installed this driver directly. But I'm rather dissapointed to see that I can't change the DPI to 400.
Anyone has any idea?

its at the bottom of that screen, giving you the option to choose between 400 and 1600 dpi
otherwise I suggest you just use the Pro Razer solution drivers, its basicly the same mice. maybe you will need to edit the drivers.inf to recognize your db as a pro solution. Heres an explenation on how to do it:
€: actually im playing with wmo again, the diamondback / prosolution just doesnt feel right :/
I hoped that you would reply. I already searched through the "advanced settings", but nothing there. Only 800 - 1600 DPI. 400 is nowhere to be found.
I removed the new driver and installed the one that was given on the CD. And guess what... in "advanced settings" 400 DPi is now available, but no 800. So on driver v6.0 it's 800 - 1600 and on driver v5.90 it's 400 -1600.

or use 6.0 if you got a fast pc, 800 dpi shouldnt be much of a problem once you start using high fps / high mouserate / high resolutions.
I am using the 5.0.9.0 right now. I should be getting a new processor and graphic card in about a month or so, with which I can play at r_mode 6 whilst having a stable 125 FPS :D. So 800 DPI/500 HZ wouldn't be a problem then. Ofcourse.., I hope by then that the Deathadder will be better available and not having the little problems it's having now, so that i can test that one aswell.
Thanks for the info, I too found out that the driver on the CD, v5.0. 9.0 contained the 400 DPI instead of 800. It's pretty weird though. one might think that those newer drivers would be "better".
Actually those v6.0 are more stable when it comes to "overclocking" the mouse to 500 hz. With the v6.0 500 HZ was more stable than with the v.5.0.9.0 version. It's jumping alot more now. But hey,it's a small price to pay.
Here are some pictures of the new driver.

Maybe I'll give it a try again in the future, but for now, the 400 DPI is what I wanted :D
editting is no fun:(
