best codecs..

Which is the best codec to use for watching x264, xvid clips and films ofc.

atm i am using K-lite codec pack 2.84 but my screen is more dark then usual.. :S

MPC PLayer a.k.a Media Player Classic

Lags less than vlc and if im right VLC makes your colors more "cold" or w/e

mpc player = media player classic, you just say it mpc player because it would sound stupid just to say mpc or vlc..
like as example if you/someone else dont know what you/someone else are talking about you just say mpc or vlc noone knows what you mean.
