VLC problems

I need help with my VLC player...
When i watch movies, after awhile the sceen freezes but the sound go on and after while an "error report" comes up and it shuts down...

Help please? ;S

Mental Problems.

Every now and then i get these frozen moments which last for like 2-10 seconds, instantly after this if anyone says something funneh i'll laugh like hell for a few minutes
