Q: Editing

There are a lot of experts on xfire movies page that comment movies saying nice editing. If you, dear reader, are one of those people, i'd like you to explain to me what editing is.

Well, it changes the movie so you basically did edit it. You could also discribe it as adding a change in timescale.

Saying 'adding a change in timescale' is your way of clutching to your definition by a thread by using the word 'adding', when really you're just changing the timescale.

CHANGING the timescale = ADDING something EXTRA?

I said it's included in my defintion, I didn't say it has to be included everyone's. My opinion is that when you choose to change the timescale, you edit the movie. How that is clutched into the defintion is besides the point.

You don't have to share my opinion, you know. In my eyes editing isn't something that can be explained in a few words or sentences.

I admit that I'm not too happy with my own definition either, as it basically doesn't say anything about what editing is. Just don't take my words too litteraly, it leaves me without a defense! :<

-frag-audio syncing <- the most important thing
-effects, pls dont use every single vegas effect :|


And most of those who say 'omg nice editing m8' even the editing sucks are usually just asslickers

the difference = there is many effects and its longer than 5minutes and in the other one there is just light effect and its just 2minutes?

Im just asking dump stuff becuase havent slept for manyyyyy hours. and ofc writing rlyrly bad. having atleast one typo in almost every sentence.
