More Adverts

Trial period, lets see whether they're actually worth it. Looking into advertising oppourtunities here on Crossfire so we can do bigger things with the CPC as we're sorta limited in our revenue sources, so lets see whether this is worth while.

I'm sure the ads could be removed if you agreed to pay a subscription to crossfire...

its fine to add adverts but not like this, it annoys people. put it like normal site on the left side or something.

and my add block cant seem to block it great

personally i think the ads look bad, but if they are profitable for the site, they are profitable for the community and I think they shall be kept.

They are in a good place actually, would suck if the banners would be above the post, but between post and comments is perfect imo. Hope it works out!
Btw blocking ads for sites which you support is kinda shit... I hate popups and some random site mega big ads, but on xfire and esr, i can cope with them.

Well, if it's going on views, yes. For clicks no, but who will click on those sucky adverts? I never clicked on a banner, neither I will do here... Just move it...

Just download Adblock Plus. Im using FF but I guess it works for att webbrowsers.
