halp! =(

Okay, I took a screen shot with windows because i wanted to use one banner instead of all the separate sponsor jpg's etc. Problem is the image looks fuzzy and blurry

Is there a way to make this more vibrant/crisp or even a bit sharper at all ?

I don't quite follow. The image you posted is an exact copy from the site. Save it as PNG if you don't want lossy compression.

For print work, get the original logos and work from there.
it is, but somehow (maybe just my eyes) when i use the windows screenshot function it always looks dull and blurry :-\

saving as png from now on, despite it being like 3/4 times bigger looks much nicer on my eyes. You get a cookie for being helpful!

Yeh, your JPEG compression was set too high. The captured image was sharp, but using JPEG messed it up. I used Photoshop to get the difference between images: in optimal situation it would be all black. Instead now you can see the compression artifacts caused by JPEG compression.

thanks for explaining, diagram helped a lot tbh :o)

dont save as jpeg?
its blurry cuz of low resolution. the only way to improve the quality of a raster picture is to vectorize it in a prog specialised for vector graphic, like corel draw (and maybe ilustrator?). and that is a long and wasteful procedure, if you can get your hands on the original.
lolz answer @ irc plo1Z

ps. send me tests

hmm since its jpeg, there's not much to do about it
you can try to Sharpen it (can be found at the Photoshop Filters)
it won't work afaik
Parent
hmm, not 100% no but might help =)
or search other online images of those brands
and last, if you've got time and the skill, redraw them in Illustrator :P (vector ftw)
Parent
Illustrator is something different yes. But imo u can't do that in photoshop again afaik =)
Parent
I know you can't do that in Photoshop, who said you can? :P
