you gotta looove microsoft!

hey f00ls!
im writing this from my linux installation, because since yesterday my winblows prefers to not boot. it started off with a try to install after effects, in which ive been told to install service pack 2 before i could go on with it. i said "ok, cant get worse, can it". it could. it starts up until i choose between xp and linux, when i pick windows it proceeds to that famous loading screen with that nice and shiny blue whatever and the evenly famous windows logo. yesterday ive let it run for around one hour and a half but it didnt change at all. is there anything i can do from here or in bios to fix it? did anyone encounter similar problems? i dont wanna redo format c: as ive just done it recently. plus ive broken my keyboard in rage and anger because of this. so if anyone finds my keyboard foot, please inform me. whoa this was a lot of text, wasnt it?

maybe u get a cookie or not, just help me, thank y00

tbh linux > windows @ most aspects, but most programs are finetuned for windows, so windows ftw

btw, put your harddisk in another pc, try booting it there, tell me if it works...
ive known that before, no cookie for you

Ye i have the same porblem. I have to reboot about 2 or 3 times before Windows boots correctly. After I replaced my in system32 folder msvcp60.dll I just have to reboot once or twice. :o]
so you say i just have to try rebooting several times?

Ofc, without replacing could be easily take 4-10 reboots. And even if it boots you have to wait about 1 minute until you see Logon window.

sucks to be you
makes me wonder...
