HSV adjust (Movie-making)

Hi folks,

I'm currently searching for some nice settings for the filter 'HSL adjust' at Sony Vegas... Afaik moviemakers don't like to share their settings, but if someone's able to give them to me via cf-pm (because I'm working on a trailer right now) I would appreciate it... I'm already testing different settings, but the main result still doesn't convinces me...

Well moviemakers don't really use HSV adjust in virtualdub I don't think, try using the "HSL adjust" effect in Sony vegas.

I've talked to a moviemaker already, and he said, that I shouldn't use 'HSL adjust' & 'sharpen' at Sony Vegas, instead of Vegas I should use V-Dub for those processes...

Believe me, I know moviemakers and the majority use Vegas for all effects.

Well i'm a noob tbh, but I use 1.3 saturation and 1.05 lumination :/

After you finished the whole thing, maybe you can sharpen it in Virtualdub, on setting 6 or something.

afaik noone who did a good movie used vdub for anything other than making avi from tgas and prhaps compression...

Same goes for me, was just wondering if people really use HSV adjust via vdub...

Finally I need setting for HSL adjust at Sony Vegas :'o/

hsv is ne sau, steckt den pimmel in kakao, zieht ihn wieder raus, hm sieht ja lecker aus

do not use vegas sharpen, use vdub sharpen instead. (values around 10-12 max!)

Colors: its a mixture of some filters like the hsl adjust and the color corrector / color balance.

you cannot really define a good or standard value here, because every Movieconfig is diffrent. (at least it should be like that)

However in my movies I use about 1.05 to 1.2 saturation and around 1.1 lumi.

because in my opinion the picture gets too crispy with higher sharpen values.
