VLC halp

i get these horizontal lines in VLC when the picture moves, I already downloaded a new version of VLC and reinstalled, I still got the same prob >:\
some image I found on google images:

mine are not so severe.
I did some searching on google and these lines seem to be deinterlacing artifacts, how do I get rid of them?
also I'd use mplayerc or something else for videos, but I got other problems with that -_-

is it in every video? if not, its due to compression of the video, if yes, I cant help ya.

omg you have to insert the artifacts into your upgrade slots
usually they're at the back of your head :/

then maybe you can read this whole thing and figure out what to do (i didnt read it through)

BUT

i still recommend the first method

Deinterlacing? Right click into the video window -> Deinterlace -> If set to "Deactivated" change to whatever is the next one (i use the german version ;().

Ye I tried that and for some reason it didn't fix it. Now it fixes it when I try it again -_-
