Video and Ipod help!

In my last yournal i asked for recommendations of things to download, I downloaded them and now i cant put the videos on my Ipod, i've tried multiple things to get it done but whenever i drag and drop them onto itunes it says the ipod cannot play them.

Does anyone have any experience in this? if so what do you do to put movies on your ipod video?

yes in theory i have like 9 different copies ofthe simpsons movie in ipod video format, none of them will be dropped onto the player though :(

Are they .mp4 ?

Or try find the book, must be in there.
