downloa... err, bought this today and I cant seem to find the option to make ctrl + z do only undo, not undo/redo. it was possible in ps7, so how can I do it in cs3?

I dont use redo tool a lot, and if I need to use it, I use it trough action history.
even for you, since it's a very quick way of observing minor changes, what would be impossible by simply using the action history (well, at least way less effective). For example. you give it a 10% color gradient map overlay, you wouldn't see the change by bare eye normally, exept for if you press ctrl+z very quickly a few times, which shows you every detail...
ctrl + z & ctrl + y
and yeah, thats what I do and when I do it, I do it like that. I use undo more often than redo so its logical that it saves time.
ignore undo/redo, just bind undo to alt z and redo to something like alt y
its nce to work with but you need time to learn it well
