need help with sony vegas 8.0 #2

Hello. It's me again. I got a question.

I made video in sony vegas and i converted it to .avi file. The video in Sony Vegas is 21 kb , but the .avi file is 1,76 GB big. How to make it smaller ?

Read the tutorials on how to make movies, to lazy to check now but im sure there something in there on how to render movies

Your project file is 21 KB, not the movie itself. The .AVI file seems to be uncompressed, check the drop down menus for compression methods.

The best way however would be to save it as an uncompressed .AVI and encode it with different tools like MGUI. Like Avalanche said, there should be some tutorials up.

compress using vdub or megui, don't use vegas to compress. you SHOULD export with no compression from vegas
