Premiere is pretty limited by itself. You might want to couple it with After Effects for effects making.

Edit the footage together in Premiere, make placeholders and notes where needed, import the project file to AE and make your post effects.

If the edit works without effects, it'll work with them as well. :)

So you better off with vegas cause it incluedes the effect part already?
