Ok, if u don't mind, I'm gonna give u some tips ;) (if u mind, just pm me, and ill delete this comment).
1st of all, try using colors together that fit (you could for example use some photo filters or gradient maps).
Try making more natural shapes, because you really see the pentool effect :)
The sky is really bad, but I guess you found that out yourself. Just try taking some nice brushes, and smudge them with some other nice brushes. Use some burn and dodge, some brush erasing, that shizz, and create yourself a nice sky with clouds or space or w/e.
Also, the placement of the objects is rather random, there isn't really a focus. Try using several techniques like color fading, depth of field, blurring, sharpening, burning, dodging, and all that shizz to create an effect of depth and with that a focus.
The grass is too big and looks copied, try making small nuances with a small chalk/splatter smudge brush (use the brush options ofc ;))
Also, NEVER use lens-flare in these type of works, it really ruins the whole work imo ^^
Well, I guess that's enough whining for now.
If you still need help you can always contact me ;)
ye thanks for the tips, most of these I kinda knew already but didn't want to spend that much time with this one, not so random ornament is in my profile, if you didnt check it yet. and about the lens flare, don't know what I was thinking about.
btw, I'm not trying to make it as realistic looking as possible, I kinda like the sky as it is now, it could be better yeah, but it's not that bad either.
I wasn't talking about making the sky realistic, but this just (sorry to use the word, but dno another one) looks really amaturistic. I mean, spice it up a bit, give it depth, give it a feeling, change the colors, etc...
You mean give it some feeling like water = movement = friction? Your own "art" is one big Photoshop cliché, so you might want to be more careful who you're calling amateuristic.
AHAHAHAHA ok at first I didn't care about your lowzy comments, but now I'm offended. Making own brushes is izibash, and in case you wondered, I'm one of the better designers around, I actually know my shizz. You show some of your works b4 bitching @ me, retard.
no but tell, do you seriously call youself a 'designer' ? Coudl someone that adivce to use filters can call himself a 'designer' ? im sorry but the first thing i'hv learnt when i used to waste some time on photoshop was 'do not use filters nor someone else's brush' ..
but looking at you, which seems to really believe hes a 'designer' i could be wrong, all those guys working in many designing company and earning their food each months by using design soft could have been all wrong, after all you're 'spree, the designer' ...
rofl the difference between you and me is that im not calling me a 'designer' and actually evrything i did on photoshop was for great and very well known company who pay very well ;)
but maybe we could start talking about coding-wise ? im sure that with your dreamweaver you are a amazing coder, arent you ?!
oh too bad :[ though you could have teachd me how to make such amazing and uber clouded supah manga's sign like in your old profile ! that was sooo amazing !
assembly ´05 I think, he's prolly the onlyone on the list which i'm not sure if I've met him or not, I remember seeing him though, could be wrong tho..
just,
stop.
