I always search for bookmarks with the search function. Dno an other way to do it

had the same prob!! dunno how to solve it, i just added them again!

use foxmarks it saves your bookmarks centrally and you can have the same bm's on every computer!

try this:

- C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\User Name\Anwendungsdaten\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\default.wct\bookmarks.html

- Import em: Lesezeichen-Manager -> Datei -> Importieren

but for the next time use Bookmarks > Organize bookmarks > File > Export bookmarks :P
save them somewhere (upload to your mail or smth) since its like 500kb max, and import them again when you need it

Google Bookmarks ftw.

Not stored locally, accessible from every computer that has Google Toolbar installed. Easy searching: Google search engine searches from the pages listed in your bookmarks and provides best matches based on the content of the pages instead of keywords assigned to the bookmarks. Database allows one bookmark to belong to many folders etc.

Managing them is a bit shitty at the moment, but otherwise I'm satisfied with the service.
