hi all..
I have a schoolproject where i have to make a movie with my friends.
today we recorded some clips and now i want to edit them + put them together in sony vegas.
the files are .avi but i cant watch them on sony vegas. it works well on VLC so why not at s v +WMP!!!!
pls i rly need ur help or i wont get a good mark and my friends will kill me.
k if u want to see me dead i understand that but anyway u could help me >:)

I know its the case for megui if you want encode it in nero digital sound
Most moviemakers use the huffyuv codec for a small compression and then import it into vegas
E: It just says media offline when I try it ..
You need to be able to open it in Virtual Dub
my mate put the avis from his cam to my pc...
now i have 44 small clips which iwant to edit with sony vegas
only vlc player can read the files...wmp and sony vegas cant :/
should be fine after that-
Virtual Dub is a simple program to uncompress- youll lose some quality though unless you have the file source still from the cam.
