Unlike some people, I'm not deluded. There's not going to be major competetive interest in CoD2 or ET - we have to make do with the best realistic possibility, which is CoD4 imho.

cod4 is just simpley more realistic, and so close to reality...it gives +1 to the fucking amazing game
not to talk about the effects, sounds, graphs, gameplay, weapons

cod4 isnt close to realism and besides, who gives a shit about realism, a game needs to be enjoyable as a spectator sport and be fun, balanced to be good as a competitive game, not realistic.

I don't care, I play games based on how fun they are, not on how much shit I could win. Take ETQW as an example... could've gone and raped face but that would've been boring.

I'm more a spectator than a player these days, especially now I'm based in China. Personally, I find CoD4 more interesting to watch than any of the other major competetive games out there.

I'm here on work - we're running a project in Hong Kong that's being managed out of Shanghai office. As for the language, I know absolutely none as yet. It's bloody confusing...

Watch starcraft, there's a reason why it's the national sport of korea - it's really good as a spectator sport - even though all koreans might not play starcraft, they enjoy watching it.

Starcraft is ok, and for RTS gaming I agree it's far and away the best from a spectator's point of view, but I prefer team-based FPS games personally.

I prefer FPS also, but I can't stop watching starcraft thanks to the awesome commentary by Tasteless or Klazart.

Yeah - you've hit the nail on the head there too - good commentators really make a huge difference. QuadV (Deman in particular) do some great CoD4 casts, and they're available as VoDs so I can actually watch them, which helps too!
