video editor

Oh hoi I'm looking for video editing software. Yes, I know: Sony Vegas, but maybe there's something alternative? No need for uberprofessional stuff, i just need to cut something from video recorded on my cam, add blur, music, some intro subtitles, compress this big avi format and make it all better than when I'll use Windows Movie Maker :D
