hard to jugde the quali by watching a stream @ own3d.at imo, but quality isnt that bad imo

It's not random, but anyone who spends 30 minutes reading colour theory can reproduce it. You are under the illusion that you are the only person capable of creating such a thing.

Also, I've never actually seen you relate colour theory to sound theory, the colours you use in a movie should always represent the mood or feel conveyed from the music, but alas, since you've never really made anything longer than 30 seconds, I can't comment on your usage of it.

But yes, your random photoshopped images do make for decent backdrops and I can understand why they are popular, but they are by no means "special".

actually my colors come from a vegas plugin :P and.. the quality doesnt come from cfg only.. there is also some txtures and shader work behind it :P

and btw take your color theory inside the ass.. it means NOTHING to me or other moviemaker.. you can create the mood you want.. and the mood is not only related with music and colors.. its also related with effects, kind of edit and sound effects .

And don't forget mood syncing.

The main point I was getting at, is that your quality is not the best ever, and is not too hard to achieve for anyone who puts the effort in.

Take RGB for example, they probably spent less time than you on ET movies, and look at the quality they achieved.

Of course they did. Code a opengl hack for shadows, code some bumpmapping shaders, export everything to 3d max.. work alot at animations, record inside et uber slowly... code a bloom effect..
