i used it earlier, pretty nice prog. i started fruity -> Reason -> CubaseSX

no tbh its very complicated, try google. I remember i "bought" a book about Reason, helped me a lot.

no need to use samples in fruityloops,

use the build in synthesizers to create ur sound.

if u wanna produce a nice drum, just go for a sine waveform, add a short attack time, a decent decay and play with the release time. maybe u need to pitch it a bit down, depends on ur global tuning from ur loop / song.
