still irc problem...

I have my lovely d-link router and for some reason when I try to connect to IRC I lose my inet connection, when I connect on shitty usb modem I get port scan block from firewall but irc is working :< the person who'll help me will get a cookie

you should be able to get a security log from your router to see what is happening

could be that it's cutting access when you're being scanned for open proxies as a precaution

Log into your router to add the port. The IP to log into the router is usally 192.168.2.1 or 192.168.1.1 or just check the manual it should be in there (this is a local IP). It will ask you to login. Once in add just the port should be easy! goodluck
