on my computer every movie is working fine with this setup:
-coreavc
-haali media splitter
-ffdshow
-ac3filter
-media player classic
everything is working great, subtitles is loaded automatic etc ec.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
just fixing around with a noob computer. p4 2.4Ghz, 512mbram, fx5600 256mb,
just installed TinyXP on it everything works fine even bluray movies dont even lagg anything.
But 1 thing is not working and i am still using same codec setup:
-coreavc
-haali media splitter
-ffdshow
-ac3filter
-media player classic
but here it dont load the subtitles automatic, _and_ when i drag the .srt for exemple to the movie it says "cannot render the file"
anyone know wat the problem can be?

i guess you haven't tried mpc yet
vlc crashed ever in my use.
when i have watched series and movies (except fragmovies "let's use some spierdalaj_polish_codec.com"), haven't ever been in need to use any codecs.
don't know why you would install vlc, mpc is simply an executable.
don't know why you bring up codecs.
don't know why you say ever, instead of never.
don't know why you don't contradict my quality statement.
don't know why you just won't try out mpc.
come to think of it, guess i don't know very much, do i?
fail
cya @ next forum discussion
you can change subtitle framerate etc
you can stream movies etc
why i even reply. kinda useless to talk for a person who seems to know nothing about vlc
Thats a guess....
