audio from cassette to cd

1 week ago i made a journal about this subject. i read the stuff but because of the bad wheather there werent much ppl on school and we played CoDII +- the whole day.. and i forgot how to put audio from casette on a cd.+ all the comments are deleted in old journals so i dont know what you people had recommended me.

this was in the journal:
hello i got a task from school. i have 2 audio casettes and i have to get the audio on cd (and improve the quality of the audio). i have no idea how... i have a got some kind of casette player and a cable but i dont get a new hardware found popup thing...
any1 know how i can get the audio on my computer?!
