ipod question1336

i got stuff on my ipod, the ipod is synchronised to my PC, theres some stuff on my laptop which i want to get on my ipod! but if i connect the ipod to my laptop, the only way (afaik) is that the ipod removes everything thats current on the ipod, before i can put my laptop-stuff on it;/

how can i add things to my ipod from my laptop without it getting formatted-_-

USB STICK -> LAPTOP -> DRAG FILES -> DISCONNECT -> INSERT INTO PC -> DRAG FILES INTO ITUNES PLAYLIST -> SYNC.

als ik dat aanvink, en dan muziek wil synchroniseren, zegt ie:

" weet u zeker dat u muziek wil synchroniseren? alle bestaande materiaal op de ipod word vervangen en verwijderd door nummers uit de ipod bibliotheek"

ben ik toch alles kwijt?;x

uninstall itunes, it's one of the worst pieces of software ever written, and it's even worse when used on windows

dunno dude but it works completely perfect for me (on windows) already have it for 8 months and i love it :) 45gb on it so for

i hate that app and all the intrusive bullshit it installs like that ipod service, apple update service, quicktime

plus large libraries were hell...

anything over 10k songs would be unusable (well, on my old athlon anyway, foobar handled it swimmingly)

dunno i just dont have any probleem with :-< and its quite easy to make new playlist and add music to it imo + i dont have any music on my computer (only thing is if i lose my ipod i lose all my music :x)

woah, i couldn't handle that risk

got all my music on my ipod, backed up onto dvd, on my harddrive, and backed up onto a harddrive that is kept in storage

haha :D well i kinda forgot everything in like 5 min mostly and im always late, but i never lost my mp3 player (well i lost some else his ipod :P)

It does indeed look pretty good. Might try it out next time I sync. So far I've been using gtkpod on linux and foo_dop on win, both have some downsides though.

It's a really nice program. No problems with album art or compilations either which is nice as i spent far too many hours tagging my music :c

While i've got you on a reply, are you using panels_ui? Every time i open foo i get a compatibility issue :(

that screen will only appear when you've already attached your ipod to your pc!

isEN, go to "bewerken" => "voorkeuren"=> "apparaten" => "automatische synchronisatie voor alle ... uitschakelen"

if it's in English it's prolly the same steps you need to take :)
