But still, your comment is not contributing to the solution of this issue

but still i dont care about openoffice

Why is it better? The only big difference is the interface, and whether you like that is based on taste. Since OpenOffice.org 3.0 you can also open Microsoft's Open Office XML formatted files (.docx), which was the only issue I had with OOo 2.*

Yeah... call a program crappy whilst yours can't even do '''' """"" '''' """''' lol.

u mean ``asd´´ or "bla"?
Normaly when you press ["][l][a]["][space] it will appear as: "bla" but when im pressing those buttons im getting: bla

If that happens only in OO then u gotta blame them but otherwise u might have some strange keyboard language setting.
yeah try every key see if its somr place else like where this key is @

QuoteOne other glitch involved double quotes. It took me a while to figure out how to stop OpenOffice.org from replacing double quotes with a question mark. To fix this, navigate to the AutoFormat tool (through the Format drop-down menu), click on the Custom Quotes tab, and then uncheck Replace under the Double Quotes section. After doing this, all double quotes will remain intact.

I think its the same problem? Hope it helps.
fuck openoffice, my T.I. teacher at uni said we have to DL this and it's rly shit worthy
If you don't have the @ sign below your Esc key, do the following (Sorry for Dutch):

In Configuratiescherm, make sure you are looking at the "Klassieke weergave"
Go to Landinstellingen
Go to the Toetsenbord en Talen tab
Click on the Toetsenborden wijzigen... button
Make sure your Standaartinvoertaal is Engels (Verenigde Staten) - Verenigde Staten (internationaal)
Below "Geinstalleerde services", remove "Nederlands (Nederland)"

Click OK...

Maybe you need to restart OpenOffice before you notice a difference.
