You should download VLC media player. Plays almost any files and lets you blend in your own subtitles. It's easy to find once you've downloaded it.
i have the vlc player and what do i do now with the srt file and movie?>????

do you mean like open the subtitle srt file at the same time as the movie?
Parent
Open subtitles and Play imo, never used subtitles!

get your .srt file in the same folder as ur movie(it doesnt really matter but its easier) and do whut i said or cannon, then just open that file and there ya go

Hmm when I download a movie with subtitles it usually has a seperate .srt file with it. It should have the same name and be in the same folder as the moviefile.

Not sure about this.
i dunno how thats gonna make me have subtitles but ill try

never watch movies with windows media player... VLC or MPC STAR are good
If you got VLC its really easy

Since you're dutch i'll explain it in dutch:

1. download je ondertiteling
2. zet het in je map waar je film zit
3. speel film

als hij 't niet doet dan:
druk je als de de film hebt geopent op video--> ondertitelingsspoor bestand openen

voor subtitles is http://www.nlondertitels.com/ een goeie site
ty dat hielp ma hoe moet ik het syncen?

Didn't read comments since Im fucking tired but wanna help. So ehm, You should use vlc player since its the best out there afaik.

You either rename the subtitle the same as the movie name is, put both into the same folder and start your movie. Subtitles should come automatically.
OR
You open the movie with vlc and put the subtitle FILE into the vlc screen. should work, there is also somesort of option in vlc where you can open subtitle and stuff.

Hope this helped, now off to slpeeph. 8)) gnight everyone

Oh yeah true. I had to change also since yesterday I came thro with a movie which lagged with vlc. So I changed to mpc and everything works fine now. 8)
