5on5 mod/config

- Reducing rifle power would require a new mod
- Overpowering fops would only need a .config
- Is it worth making a new similar etpromod for 5on5?
- sv_fps from 20 to -> sv_fps 40 ?

Would anyone would be interested in making a new mod for it? (ETPro + nerfing rifle/fops etc) foxdie said you don't need etpro's sourcecode to be able to do the changes.


Post other suggestions/feedback here.

xreal would be better used in making ET2 or another game, not a mod imo.

5v5 with no rifle is a good option for CIEC7 imo. I like the idea of an smg only ET.

playing 3 months 5o5 with a rifler in the lineup and then remove it really sounds "good option"

I think we should also remove soldier, fops and cvops and have engi without mines and 30 bullets and medics with only one syringe, only one medpack and pistol only

unblind can explain it well, i think you will see the players animated at 40fps instead of 20 fps = smoother.

you need to buff it a bit making it more powerful.

However if you buff it too much, it will become overpowered which is what we don't want.

wouldnt mind the new mod tbh, eventhough antipro failed - why cant ppl continue developing etpro, hasn't foxdie got sources?
i could tell millions of things that could be improved, i envy so much looking at QL :/

but anyway since the time is limited before cic7:
1)buffing fop is easy but not via locking it to the 3rd level which would be overpowering, but increasing regen speed, x1.5 would be okay i guess
2) as for rnades i see no other FAST way other than leaving 2 rnades(which is possible via cfg ye? ) this wouldnt nerf it much though
3) force team push only ffs
4) wouldnt mind having double fps but not 1 month before lan

First decide whether you are going to change back to 6v6 after the LAN or stay with 5v5. Don't change anything in the config till the LAN, because teams have been training for it now.

Release an official statement before the LAN starts, so people can talk & think about what should be changed to optimize the 5v5 config/mod. Then after the lan, release an official 5v5 config & announce a competition with prizes (with LANfinals), this will keep ET active till the next LAN hopefully.

After try to continue anti-pro or make a new anti-cheat. :o)

keep 5v5 format just for teh lan event, online players prefer 6v6. dont be dumb kb : )))))))
