ESL site is shit, I prefer clanbase on its downtime over that ESL-jungle.

Solution:
1) go to your team overview: http://www.esl.eu/eu/myteams/
2) click on "manage team"
3) click on "edit team"
4) fill the field "Abbreviation / Short name / Tag" with content
5) click on send
