rapidpoints and 25gb download?

hello, i realized i got too much stuff which i could upload and spread around for some rapidsharepoints. With enough rapidsharepoints u can buy a rs.com premium acc?

So that would mean i get a free rs.com acc for just some uploading (while beeing at school with 2MB/s is just fine :D).

But:
How does that exactly work? I make a collector acc and gather rapidpoints. Then when i have enough i can request a rs.com acc. How much traffic does it have?
I see ppl having 25GB traffic and when its empty it gets filled on the next day again (as exchange for rapidpoints i guess). When i ordered a rs.com acc i only had 6gb max :o

i got a rapidshare account because downloading older movies/games/series can be a nightmare with torrents.

so i need 8000rapidpoints for a 30day rs.com account

means around 8000ppl would have to download my files.

Shouldnt be hard with 250GB of stuff which i could upload and spread on warez-sites

Each time a free user downloads your files, you gain points. You get a Free-RapidPoint for each download, provided that the file is bigger than 5 megabyte and the user has not generated more than 3 RapidPoints in the last hour. Your files have to be stored in the collector's zone or the premium zone so that we can assign the download to your account.

RapidPoints can be exchanged to extend your premium membership. For this, you can go to the menu option "Redeem RapidPoints" in the free zone or premium zone.
You gain Premium-RapidPoints when premium users download your files. The TrafficVolume generated by all files bigger than 5 MB will be added, and you will get one Premium-RapidPoint for each 100 MB. Your files have to be stored in the collector's zone or premium zone in order for us to assign the RapidPoints to your account.

You can convert your Premium-RapidPoints into Free-RapidPoints.

They grant you 5Gb of traffic everyday, the top roof is 25Gb.

Nope, the rules change every once in a while and unfortunately it's 5Gb everyday (since quite a long time)

Edit: "RapidShare offers its premium users the opportunity of downloading without a waiting period and at a maximum speed a data volume of 5 gigabytes (“Download-Traffic”) on a calendar day basis. RapidShare will increase each premium users’ Download-Traffic by 5 gigabytes per calendar day, regardless of a user’s consumption of Download-Traffic. The total amount of Download-Traffic cannot exceed 25 gigabytes per calendar day"

I've always been paying for my account although I decided to upload a few files since I switched to 50/3Mbps connection. I've uploaded 509 files, 45 910 MB in total, later posted all the links on warez-bb.... in two months I made 8622 Premium Points and 6167 Free Points, 16944 Free Points in total, each 1 month extension is 10k or new account 8k...

If you don't have at least 2Mbps of upload speed, give up and buy it =)

speed tests give me around 0.2mb/s average upload speed, while in reality its more like 50kb/s max.

so i suppose i have no way of getting over the 5gb a day ?

5Gb is the download limit, there is no upload limit, what you upload doesn't count for the traffic afaik

3 years ago I had a tool from a user called "penner"
it was premgen afaik
the things you had to do were:

- upload file (over 5mb)
- paste link in premgen
- click start

the tool downloaded the file, restarted the router and downloaded the file again :P

ye i could make a little prog like that too.. but hmm.. should better calc how much rapidpoints that would be during a night.. propably it would be faster to spread new games on warez sites than just making such a little script.

I made smth similiar but just for mybrute.. i think it was like every 18sec a new pupil which also lvled up to lvl 3.


and ye smth happent to ironsoup haha :D
