What are the latest tools made by our beloved community members during the last year or so?

what has hannes made most recently or is it still the moviemakermod or something like that?

image by madscientist, anything new?

I remember crumbs working on with some tool that allowed you to select demos for easy recording. was it so that you could enter start and stop for each invidual demo and it would record them?

and finally, besides these and most importantly, has there been any new tools around?

I havent used any of his stuff but he's done some good tools.
No moviemaker should ever use fraps. period.

Hannes realised a new media manager, you can cut the demos, scan frag etc in few seconds :

edit : United Kingdomcrumbs worked on a popup software like the rtcw one but didn't saw any news for months :(

what was the point of autorecorder ?
You add your demos, start and stop time, generate the script, exec the script and it start to capture ?

I record during night, so it creates a script (everything is automatic), exec different configs per map, everything ready for new image, although i think there is a litle error (some slower pcs need a big wait time at a script.. it works fine with my pc though :D )

If it doesn't need the start frame to begin the capture, it will be certainly nice to use with the demo cutter :P
cut a triple dozen of demo -> add to autorecorder -> go to bed -> hard disk full when you wake up :D

i think i removed the "limits" of start frame tbh before my hdd crash! need to check myself, anyway you can still use the CUT infos to paste there. Example if you cut from 19950 to 33000, you can paste at my tool from 19951 to 29999 :D


ps: i still have the source at my laptop but i remember i added some litle stuff to latest version like script fixs and some litle stuff, if it is really worth i can re-edit the old version!


edit: oh it doesn't make sense! now i remember why, we always need a Stop time because the script has to tell ET to stop _there_ and load another demo.. there isn't another way to do it as far i know :\

I didn't write any "manual" so you have to figure out yourself how to.. but thats kinda easy!

I made some movies few years ago also.. but my style is like from 2006, capturing "cl_avidemo 60" + "virtual_dub" "uncompressed" then vegas and so on... is there much difference between this capturing style and with that image thing or not.. i just want to know which way is better way of wasting ur free time :D

it's not that different now. Nowadays can concentrate on edit/sync because some stupid dumbass's like me/madscientist and other people saved alot of time.How? public configs, packs, mad did image which records alot faster than normal et with low fps and motion blur!

Just take a short look over blitz tutorial here on cf! :P kinda the same rly!
