Troubles with updating HoN?

some people (including me) experience troubles updating HoN (it crashes during the white bar loading thingy).

here's how to fix it

open your heroes of newerth folder in program files and then open the update folder. Extract the 'tos.txt' to your desktop and then you cut the 'tos' on your desktop and paste it in your heroes of newerth folder in program files.

It worked for me :~>

rename log.txt to tos.txt in the folder. Should work

This too should be good.

Apparently, HoN made a mistake upon patching. So do yourself a little favour just rename the file log.txt to tos.txt OR create a new .txt file called tos.txt.
Run the game and update.
