This document will guide you through the process of creating a Prize Fight account and signing up / paying for your spot in the Crossfire Prize Fight LAN.
Create a Prize Fight Account
The first stage is creating a Prize Fight account and this can be done at:
Complete the form provided and click the submit button. You will then be shown the screen below.
You will then receive a confirmation email asking you to click a link that will verify your email address and complete your registration. Click the link to complete this part of the process and be shown the confirmation screen below.
Top-Up Account
Now log into your account using the box at the top left of the screen and the details you provided for Username and Password. Once logged in click the “Top-Up Account” link located on the right-hand navbar under the heading “Account” as shown on the screenshot below and select how much to deposit to your Prize Fight account through PayPal.
You can pay through PayPal using your Credit Card or standard PayPal funds. Also, with the cost of entrance to the event being 30 Euros and the Prize Fight site working in £ GBP the entrance cost will be £20. This means you need to transfer at least £20 into your Prize Fight account in order to pay for your spot.
Once you have selected the correct amount to transfer into your Prize Fight account then click the PayPal icon located on the page, this will take you to the Paypal site and ask for your Paypal account details or Credit Card details depending on how you want to pay.
Event Registration
After completing all the steps at the PayPal site your Prize Fight account will be credited and then you need to go to the following page to complete your registration:
Your username and email address will automatically be drawn from your Prize Fight User Account you created and therefore all you need to enter on the form is your clan tag. Once this is done click the submit button and your Prize Fight account will be automatically debited the registration fee for the event and you will be added to the player list.
If you register and pay for your space but your team does not complete registration in the allotted period and another team takes your spot then your Prize Fight account will be refunded with your registration fee.
We will be allowing those teams that haven’t qualified to pay and register at the same time as those teams that have qualified / were invited. The teams that didn’t qualify but do pay will be down as reserve teams. If one of the qualified / invited teams hasn’t completed their registration and payment before the 19th August then one of the reserve teams will be given the spot and any refunds processed accordingly. Thus there is an incentive to pay as soon as possible and secure your spot before the 19th.
Unfortunately it is not possible to pay for multiple registrations at once, each registration requires a separate Prize Fight account. However, one PayPal account or Credit Card can be linked to multiple accounts so a Team Captain or Team Manager can pay for multiple registrations by transferring funds from the same source into the different Prize Fight player accounts.
